Chinatown Cultural Plan
Chinatown is one of Calgary’s most distinctive cultural communities, with a long and important history. Developed together with the Chinatown community over the past two years, the draft Chinatown Cultural Plan outlines the strategies and actions to take advantage of Chinatown’s many cultural strengths.
As we work to finalize the plan, we want to know what you think of the Cultural Plan and what actions appeal most to you. The last day to provide your feedback is March 7.

About the Cultural Plan
The Chinatown Cultural Plan builds on the Cultural Plan for Calgary to propel exciting initiatives within Chinatown and is shaping the new Chinatown Area Redevelopment Plan by applying a cultural lens on how we plan for future development. It is organized around five themes:
- People, voices and experiences
- Culture, creative and learning
- Food, merchants and tourism
- Housing, health and social purpose
- Places, spaces and natural environment
Created for use by citizens, community groups, businesses, artists/creators and others, the Chinatown Cultural Plan understands it is people – not The City – who create and sustain the culture of a community.
Look for the final Cultural Plan to be released later this year.

《唐人街文化計劃》是為市民、社區組織、商家、藝術家／創作者及其他人士制定，服務創造及維持社區文化的居民，而非市政府。
請留意今年稍後發布的《文化計劃》最終版本。
