What does it mean when a Suite is registered?
It means that the suite has been:
- approved through a development permit, including advertising if required, or it is exempt from a development permit as it meets the rules of the Land Use Bylaw and is permitted in the current zoning.
- inspected and approved by a Safety Codes Officer for life safety requirements.
- assigned a separate address.
- screened and added to the Suite Registry and given a registration number.
