PROVIDE YOUR INPUT

Online engagement open until April 8, 2021

The City is one of ten regional partners on the Calgary Metro Region Board (CMRB). The CMRB is developing a new growth plan—and the public is invited to participate. Share what’s important to you to help create a growth plan that works for all communities in our region.

What matters most to you when it comes to planning for growth in the region?

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Calgary Metro Region Board (CMRB) includes Calgary and nine other municipalities. A new growth plan is being developed this year for the entire region. The plan will support the long-term economic, environmental and social wellbeing of all our regional municipalities.

You live, work and play in the Calgary Metro Region – what matters to you about how this region will grow? How do we find the right balance when planning for the next million people in the region? What does it mean to make the most of shared services?

The Growth Plan will reflect the changing needs of people, businesses and ecosystems that contribute to our region’s success. Have a look at the scenarios and share your thoughts on how we will get around, where people will live and work and how we will balance the needs of vibrant communities with the ability to pay for services.

This public engagement is coordinated by the CMRB. Visit the website for the ways you can have your say in the region’s growth and development.
