Green Line is Calgary's next Light Rail Transit (LRT) line. It will be 46km long and will nearly double the size of our current LRT network.
The S.E. line will run from Inglewood/Ramsay to Seton. Along this portion of the line, five station areas have been identified for transit-oriented developments: Inglewood/Ramsay, 26 Ave, Lynnwood/Millican, Ogden and South Hill.

We will be livestreaming the in person event at The Commons on Thursday March 2, 2017.
The presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by Q&A with members of the project team and Councillor Carra. We won’t have the answers to all your questions yet, but we will be able to give a preview of the update that will be given at the Transportation and Transit (T&T) Council Committee meeting on March 15, including an overview of all the options we've been evaluating. The update to T&T is not an official recommendation but a presentation of data, constraints and opportunities of all the options being considered.

The Green Line team conducted 3 design Charettes from June to September 2015 for the communities around these five stations. The Charettes identified the need for updated area redevelopment plans, and a station area plan for South Hill. Public input was used to finalize plans before they were brought forward to the Calgary Planning Commission and Council for consideration in December 2016.
We held open houses in April and June 2016. Click on a thumbnail image below for a summary of what we’ve heard so far. The next round of open houses are anticipated for Spring 2017. This page will be updated once more details are available.
On November 15 and 17 the public was invited to review the proposed Developed Areas Guidebook, area redevelopment plans (ARPs) and station area plan (SAP) that will go to Calgary Planning Commission (CPC) in January 2017. This was the last opportunity to speak with City staff and see how public input has been considered in the community plans before the plans are reviewed by CPC and Council.
What We Heard Reports from each event will be posted as they become available.
